{"id":8069,"date":"2025-08-14T15:22:33","date_gmt":"2025-08-14T12:22:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/miwebit.com\/?p=8069"},"modified":"2025-08-14T15:45:23","modified_gmt":"2025-08-14T12:45:23","slug":"pact-for-skills","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/miwebit.com\/tr\/pact-for-skills\/","title":{"rendered":"MIWEBIT Becomes Official Member of the EU\u2019s Pact for Skills, Reinforcing Its Commitment to Workforce Development"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>MIWEBIT is excited to announce its formal membership in the European Commission&#8217;s Pact for Skills, a flagship initiative of the European Skills Agenda designed to bridge skills gaps and drive forward Europe\u2019s green and digital transitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a Pact member, MIWEBIT embraces and actively implements the initiative\u2019s four key commitments:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Building strong skills partnerships to foster collaboration across sectors and borders.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Promoting a culture of lifelong learning for all, ensuring continuous upskilling and reskilling opportunities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitoring skills supply and demand, supporting proactive anticipation of emerging workforce needs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Championing equity and inclusion, working against discrimination to promote gender equality and equal access in training.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>MIWEBIT\u2019s membership places it among more than <strong>3,200 organisations<\/strong> including industry leaders, training providers, public authorities, and NGO partners &nbsp;and all dedicated to developing resilient, future-ready workforce capacities across Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A Collective Impact: Skills Development Across Europe<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the Pact\u2019s 2024 Annual Report and recent results:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Over 6.1 million people have been trained through Pact-supported initiatives since its 2020 launch<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In 2024 alone, partners invested around \u20ac650 million in upskilling and reskilling, reaching approximately 2.6 million individuals through nearly 47,800 updated or newly developed training programs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Pact\u2019s 20 Large-Scale Skills Partnerships (LSPs) trained 33% of their workforce on average, aiming to upskill or reskill over 25 million people by 2030<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Why It Matters for MIWEBIT<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>MIWEBIT\u2019s participation enables it to harness:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Enhanced collaboration and networking, pivotal tools for co-designing training with partners.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Access to knowledge and resources, including best practices, funding databases, webinars, and guidance services<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support in skills monitoring and anticipation, ensuring its workforce and stakeholders align with evolving industry demands.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What\u2019s Next?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>MIWEBIT will continue to expand its training portfolio with inclusive and future-proof programs, including digital and green competency development.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It will also play an active role in the Pact\u2019s community contributing to peer-learning events, thematic seminars, and future surveys.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Its membership helps shape a more equitable industry by embedding gender equality and accessible education into its strategic agenda.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About the Pact for Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Launched in November 2020 under the European Skills Agenda and anchored in the European Pillar of Social Rights, the Pact for Skills unites public and private entities to enhance workforce skills for economic resilience and sustainability<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MIWEBIT is excited to announce its formal membership in the European Commission&#8217;s Pact for Skills, a flagship initiative of the European Skills Agenda designed to bridge skills gaps and drive forward Europe\u2019s green and digital transitions.
